Going to Saudi Arabia means something very different for Muslims than going to other places. When Muslims go there, they do not go there just for touristic purposes. They also fulfill a religious duty. The fact that the Kaaba is located in Mecca and the tomb of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is located in Medina gives this country a special meaning. Due to these two most sacred places, it is also called the Harameyn, “Two Holy Mosques”. When it comes to Saudi Arabia, the first place that Muslims should visit is undoubtedly the Kaaba. During my 15-country world tour program in 2018, which mainly included Muslim countries, I saw how much potential we have as the Islamic World, but how many deficiencies we have.
